What does AHU-FC04 mean?

The AHU is flipping between heating, free cooling, and mechanical cooling many times an hour.

Why does it matter?

Every state change is a transient: coils fill and drain, dampers stroke, the supply temperature overshoots. It wastes energy and wears actuators, and it usually means the sequence has no deadband between modes.

What should you do?

Add or widen the deadbands between heating, economizer, and cooling in the AHU sequence; check the SAT setpoint reset and the mixed-air low-limit; verify the OAT sensor isn't noisy.
