What does AHU-X06 mean?
A control output is oscillating quickly enough that the loop is unstable.
Why does it matter?
Hunting wastes valve and actuator life and rarely holds the controlled variable on setpoint. Often masks a deeper tuning or sensor-noise problem.
What should you do?
Retune the loop's proportional and integral gains. Check sensor placement — a sensor in turbulent flow will cause apparent hunting. Verify the actuator isn't sticking and snapping past setpoint.
