What does RTU-03 mean?
On hot days with the compressor running the supply air is not getting as cold as the coil should make it.
Why does it matter?
Lost capacity means longer run hours, higher kWh per ton and comfort complaints on the hottest days — classic low charge or a fouled coil.
What should you do?
Check refrigerant charge and superheat/subcooling, clean condenser and evaporator coils, verify the second stage actually energizes.
