What does AHU-X08 mean?

A valve has been at 100% (or 0%) for sustained periods, suggesting it can't meet load.

Why does it matter?

Saturation means the loop has lost authority — controlled variable is no longer being controlled. Often points to undersized equipment, fouled coil, or a setpoint that's outside the achievable range.

What should you do?

Check the controlled variable's actual value vs setpoint while the valve is saturated. If the variable still misses setpoint, the equipment or coil is the bottleneck; if it's on setpoint, the setpoint may be reachable with less than 100% (suggesting a calibration issue).
