Where the data lives
EcoStruxure Building Operation stores trend logs on each server with an extended log on the enterprise server; i-Vu keeps trends per point with server history. Both can show several trends in one view and export the values. Menu names differ by version; the integrator’s documentation is authoritative.
Exporting
Create a trend chart or list with the points for one equipment group, set the widest date range available, and export to CSV. Use the native interval or 15 minutes if asked.
If a point has no trend log, ask the integrator to add one at 5 to 15 minutes with enough capacity for a season, and to enable the extended log so history is not lost when the controller buffer wraps.
- Include equipment status and stage points.
- Export setpoints alongside sensors.
- One file per equipment group is fine.
The file shape
One timestamp column, then one column per point. Put the unit in the header, for example "AHU-1 Supply Air Temp (F)" or "CHW-VLV (0-100)". Name each column with the equipment tag first so points from the same unit group together.
You do not need to clean the file. Energy Agent checks timezone, gaps, duplicate timestamps, frozen channels and unit mismatches before any rule runs, and tells you what it found.
