What does MET-05 mean?

A measured peak demand interval is far above what historical demand for that calendar position would predict.

Why does it matter?

Utility demand charges are usually billed on the single highest 15-minute interval of the month. One bad peak can dwarf weeks of careful energy management.

What should you do?

Investigate what was running during the peak interval — startup sequences, lighting test, HVAC pre-cool. Stagger startups to flatten the peak.
