What does PLANT-05 mean?
Pump status reads on but flow is at or near zero — the pump is deadheading against closed valves.
Why does it matter?
Deadheading destroys pump bearings and seals quickly. Also wastes power on hydraulic work that's just heating the loop water.
What should you do?
Check downstream isolation valves and balancing valves. Verify the loop has an active load. Consider adding a minimum-flow bypass.
